The Director-General of the Liberia National Lottery Authority (NLA), Peter L. Solo, has praised Ghana’s National Lottery Authority for its exemplary leadership in the gaming industry. He highlighted their commitment to operational excellence, transparency, and support for charitable causes.

On August 27, Solo, along with Liberia’s Deputy Director-General Richlue O. Burphy and several directors, visited the NLA in Ghana. As a newly appointed Director-General, Solo emphasized the importance of introducing himself and strengthening the partnership between NLA Liberia and NLA Ghana.

During the visit, Solo shared that the Liberian NLA is preparing to launch the 5/90 Game and sought guidance from Ghana’s NLA, recognized as a pioneer of this game in the region.

Ghana’s NLA Director-General, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, along with Deputy Director-General Eric Yeboah Wadie and the Executive Management team, warmly welcomed the Liberian delegation. Abdul-Salam congratulated Solo on his new role and wished him success.

He assured Solo and his team of NLA’s commitment to providing the necessary technical assistance for the successful launch and implementation of the 5/90 Game in Liberia.

To facilitate this collaboration, Abdul-Salam announced the establishment of a technical committee to work with their Liberian counterparts, focusing on regulation, operations, monitoring mechanisms, and other related areas.
