LONACI Awards 47.44M FCFA in PMU Winnings to Bettor

The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) has officially handed over two cheques totaling 47,442,000 FCFA to a bettor who recorded two major wins through the Urban Mutual Betting (PMU).

The cheques were presented on August 19, 2026, at LONACI’s headquarters in the presence of members of the press. Representing LONACI’s General Director, Dramane Coulibaly, Mr. Richard Touré, Marketing Director and Customer Experience Manager, presented the cheques to the winning bettor.

The combined winnings resulted from two successive performances in the National 1 races on August 14 and August 16, 2026.

The bettor’s first win amounted to 21,676,500 FCFA, secured through the QUINTÉ with a base stake of 300 FCFA. Two days later, the same bettor recorded another significant win of 25,765,500 FCFA through the QUINTÉ+, with a base stake of 400 FCFA.

Across the two race days, the bettor accumulated total winnings of 47,442,000 FCFA, highlighting the significant prizes available through LONACI’s PMU offerings. For the week of August 17 to 23, 2026, LONACI had more than 73 million FCFA in bets at stake.

The cheque presentation underscores LONACI’s role in providing regulated lottery and betting products while recognising winning outcomes achieved through its PMU offerings.
