The LONACI Foundation recently marked a significant milestone in its social commitment by officially handing over four fully equipped medical ambulances to healthcare facilities across Côte d’Ivoire. The ceremony took place under the leadership of Mr. Dramane COULIBALY, President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation and Director General of LONACI.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the national healthcare system and enhance emergency medical response capabilities. The ambulances have been allocated to health districts in the Goh, N’Zi, Iffou, and Me regions. This balanced distribution reflects the Foundation’s commitment to equitable access to healthcare and its dedication to addressing local needs, especially in areas where geographic distance and infrastructure challenges can delay urgent medical evacuations.
This donation represents more than just a symbolic gesture; it provides tangible support to frontline health workers. By improving patient transfer conditions and reducing response times in critical situations, these ambulances will directly contribute to saving lives and enhancing the quality of care in the beneficiary communities.
The ceremony was attended by administrative authorities, local elected officials, representatives from the Ministry of Health, and leaders of partner organizations. Their presence highlighted a collective commitment to bringing healthcare services closer to the population and strengthening collaboration between public institutions and socially responsible organizations.
