The social caravan of the LONACI Foundation arrived in the Dabakala department, in Côte d’Ivoire’s Hambol region, on August 11, 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to support community development and improve living conditions in rural areas.

Led by Guedé Marc Sakoa, Executive Director of the LONACI Foundation, the caravan marked the occasion with the official handover of two key social infrastructure projects designed to address healthcare and education needs within local communities.

In Gberekoro Bambarasso, the LONACI Foundation handed over an Integrated Health Center, complete with housing for medical staff. The facility is expected to strengthen the local healthcare offering and improve access to essential medical services for residents.

The social caravan subsequently traveled to Kawolo Sobara, where the foundation handed over a three-classroom school building, fully equipped and fitted with latrines. The new facility is intended to provide students with a more suitable learning environment while responding to the community’s growing educational needs.

The handover ceremonies were presided over by the prefectural authorities, with the participation of traditional chiefs, elected officials and regional authorities.

Through these initiatives, the LONACI Foundation is reinforcing its commitment to social development, community welfare and the improvement of living conditions, particularly in rural communities.

The projects also highlight the social responsibility mission of LONACI – Loterie Nationale de Côte d’Ivoire, which continues to place solidarity, community development and the well-being of populations at the center of its social initiatives.
