LONACI Foundation Invests Huge in Social Development Initiatives

LONACI Foundation Invests CFAF 512.7 million in Social Development Initiatives

The LONACI Foundation has invested CFAF 512,702,062 in social development initiatives across several regions of Côte d’Ivoire as part of its 2026 Social Caravan, held from August 9 to 23, 2026.

The initiative, carried out under the theme of solidarity and human development, saw the Foundation visit communities across Hambol, Gbêkê, Béré and Haut-Sassandra, where it inaugurated and handed over several essential infrastructure projects to local populations.

Led by Mr. Guédé Marc Sakoa, Executive Director, representing Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LONACI Foundation and Director General of LONACI, the caravan delivered projects designed to strengthen access to essential social services.

The projects included equipped health centers with accommodation for medical staff, classrooms, improved village hydraulic pumps and a multimedia room. The facilities are expected to improve access to healthcare, education, clean water and digital resources for beneficiary communities.

The various handover and inauguration ceremonies were attended by administrative authorities, prefectural officials, elected representatives, community leaders, traditional authorities and representatives of relevant government ministries, underscoring the importance of the investments to the communities served.

With a total investment of CFAF 512,702,062, the LONACI Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development and improving the well-being of communities across Côte d’Ivoire.

At the conclusion of the 2026 Social Caravan, the Foundation reiterated its belief that solidarity has its greatest impact when translated into concrete action. Through these investments, it continues to support a more inclusive, united and future-oriented Côte d’Ivoire.
