The Authority recently conducted a Responsible Gambling First Aid workshop at the Travel Lodge. The workshop, attended by employees from various casino establishments, including Avania Gaborone Resort and Casino, MoonLite Casino, Menateng Casino and Cresta Boșele Hotel, Marang Hotel and Casino, and Grand Palm Hotel Casino Resort, aimed to equip industry personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify and address problem gambling behaviors.

The engagement provided valuable insights into the implementation of effective harm-minimization initiatives and strategies within casino establishments. Attendees were trained on how to effectively manage potential issues related to problem gambling, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while prioritizing the well-being of their customers.
