Gamble Alert Initiative has announced the upcoming South-East & South-South Responsible Gaming Capacity Building Programme (SESSRG), scheduled to take place on October 14–15, 2026, at Imo Digital City Limited in Owerri, Imo State.
The two-day programme is designed to strengthen responsible gaming practices and player protection across Nigeria’s South-East and South-South regions.
According to Gamble Alert, the programme will provide a practical platform for regulators, gaming operators, agents, affiliates and customer-facing professionals to build their knowledge and capacity around responsible gaming.
The initiative comes as stakeholders across the gaming industry continue to focus on measures aimed at promoting safer gambling practices and improving player protection.
Gamble Alert said the programme will create an opportunity for industry stakeholders to engage, share knowledge and develop stronger approaches to responsible gaming within the sector.
The organization described the event as a regional platform focused on equipping people working across the gaming ecosystem with the knowledge and tools needed to support better outcomes for players.
The South-East & South-South Responsible Gaming Capacity Building Programme will hold at Imo Digital City Limited, Owerri, Imo State, from October 14 to 15, 2026. Industry stakeholders interested in responsible gaming and player protection are expected to participate in the programme.
