888AFRICA Partners with GiG to Build Top Three African iGaming Operator

888AFRICA has entered into a new partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), with the companies aiming to establish a Top Three African iGaming operator by revenue and profit over the next five years.

The partnership is expected to support 888AFRICA’s continued expansion across the African market, including the growth of its existing operations, entry into new markets and the exploration of potential mergers and acquisitions.

888AFRICA said the collaboration with GiG reflects a shared belief in the long-term potential of Africa’s iGaming sector and a common vision for building a leading gaming business across the continent.

The partnership marks a new chapter for 888AFRICA following its four-and-a-half-year relationship with Evoke, which supported the operator’s development across several African markets.

During that period, 888AFRICA launched multiple brands, entered new markets, acquired millions of customers and established local teams and partnerships across the continent.

The company also acknowledged the contribution of its previous partners at Evoke, thanking them for their support throughout the journey and wishing them continued success.

“Together, we have the opportunity to accelerate the growth of our existing markets, enter new ones and explore merger and acquisition opportunities that can take us further, faster,” 888AFRICA said.

Looking ahead, the operator said the partnership with GiG represents the beginning of its next phase of growth as it seeks to strengthen its position within Africa’s expanding iGaming industry.

The companies will now focus on executing their growth strategy, with the stated ambition of creating a Top Three African iGaming operator by revenue and profit within five years.
