Burkina Faso’s National Lottery (LONAB) has awarded a combined 97,533,000 FCFA to two PMU’B winners during an official prize presentation ceremony held at its Dori office on 5 August 2026. The ceremony was presided over by Mahamady Zango, Head of the Dori office, who represented LONAB Director General.

The largest prize of 62,987,500 FCFA was presented to Maiga Boureïma Madougou, a security guard based in Dori, who secured the jackpot after placing a 600 FCFA stake on a 4+1 PMU’B bet on 5 July 2026.

A second winner, Diallo Hamadou Amadou, a tailor from Essakane, received 34,545,500 FCFA after wagering 800 FCFA on a 4+1 PMU’B ticket on 26 July 2026.

During the presentation, Zango congratulated the winners and encouraged them to use their winnings responsibly. He also reaffirmed LONAB’s commitment to providing customers with fast, transparent, and secure prize payments, underscoring the lottery’s focus on maintaining trust and confidence among its players.

Both winners expressed their gratitude to LONAB following the ceremony, describing their prizes as life changing. Their success highlights the opportunities available through PMU’B while reinforcing the lottery’s message that anyone can win by participating responsibly.
