The LONACI Foundation has launched a high-level seminar to develop and validate its Strategic Development Plan (SDP) for 2026–2030, with a long-term outlook to 2035. The initiative reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening its institutional capacity and improving the impact of its social programs across Côte d’Ivoire.
The opening ceremony was led by Mr. AbdoulKarim Ouattara, Deputy General Manager, representing Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, President of the Board of Directors of the LONACI Foundation and Director General of LONACI. Mr. Ouattara stressed the importance of strategic planning to secure sustainable development and measurable social impact.
The seminar is being held at the Assoyam Beach Hotel in Grand-Bassam from March 23 to March 28, 2026, under the theme “Workshop to validate and operationalize the Strategic Development Plan (SDP) 2026–2030, with perspectives to 2035.”
It brings together senior executives, technical experts and key stakeholders, including Mr. Guédé Marc Sakoa, Executive Director of the LONACI Foundation; Mrs. Koné Nila (Mrs. Eliame), Director of Planning and Monitoring‑Evaluation at LONACI; Mrs. M’bahia Dominique, Director of Social Action; foundation staff; and representatives from NG Consulting.
The seminar will validate the Foundation’s strategic orientations for 2026–2030 and set directions to 2035, identify priority intervention areas and an implementation roadmap, and establish practical monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Discussions will address emerging social challenges, opportunities for innovation and partnerships to expand the Foundation’s reach and effectiveness.
The programme includes technical sessions, collaborative workshops, scenario‑planning exercises and stakeholder consultations aimed at aligning the Foundation’s objectives with national development priorities and community needs. Outcomes from the seminar will form the Foundation’s operational blueprint for the coming decade.
By conducting this strategic planning process, the LONACI Foundation reaffirms its commitment to structured, transparent and impactful social action. The SDP will guide improved governance, optimized resource allocation and sustainable benefits for communities across Côte d’Ivoire.
