The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism in Namibia has announced a series of public consultation workshops to validate proposed amendments to the country’s Lotteries Act and Regulations, as well as the Gambling and Gambling Activities Regulations.

The consultation is aimed at providing members of the public and relevant stakeholders with an opportunity to review the proposed amendments and contribute their views before the changes are finalized.

According to the notice shared by the Gambling Board of Namibia (GBN), the workshops will be held on dates, at venues and times specified in the official consultation notice.

Members of the public and interested stakeholders are encouraged to take note of the scheduled consultation sessions and participate in the process.

The consultations form part of the ministry’s engagement with stakeholders on proposed changes to Namibia’s regulatory framework governing lotteries and gambling activities.
