The North West Gambling Board (NWGB) is participating in the ALGA CEOs Forum 2026, currently taking place in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, bringing together gambling regulators, industry stakeholders and senior leaders from across Africa.

Representing the NWGB at the four-day forum is Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr Boitumelo Qalinge, who is engaging with regulatory and industry leaders on key issues shaping the future of Africa’s gambling sector.

The forum provides a platform for African gambling leaders to exchange insights, strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities to drive growth and transformation across the continent’s gambling industry. Discussions are focused on developing strategies that can contribute to a more sustainable, responsible and well-regulated gambling environment.

Key areas of focus at the forum include combating illegal gambling, promoting responsible gambling, strengthening collaboration among stakeholders and building a stronger African gambling sector.
