The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has ordered the immediate suspension of the operations of Baron Sports Gaming Ltd, trading as Forzza, citing violations of the company’s approved gambling licence.

According to a public notice issued on 30 July 2026, the suspension takes immediate effect and applies to all of the company’s outlets, agents, digital platforms, and other gambling-related activities in Rwanda.

RDB said Baron Sports Gaming Ltd is required to cease all operations immediately and remove all associated advertising and promotional materials.

The regulator stated that the enforcement action follows findings that the company was repeatedly offering casino-style games outside the scope of its approved licence, in violation of the law governing gambling activities.

RDB advised the public not to participate in any games or activities offered by Baron Sports Gaming Ltd (Forzza) until further notice. The regulator added that any continued operation by the company during the suspension period is unlawful and will be subject to further enforcement action.

RDB reminded all licensed lottery and gambling operators that they are required to operate strictly within the scope and conditions of their respective licences.

The regulator also stated that any unlicensed or unauthorised activity is unlawful and may result in regulatory sanctions, including suspension or revocation of a licence.

RDB reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the gambling sector, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and protecting consumers and the wider public.
