Benin National Lottery (LNB SA) has appointed Marius Adanzounon as its new Director General, ushering in a new phase of digital transformation, operational modernization, and sustainable growth for the state-owned lottery.

Adanzounon officially assumed office on June 16, succeeding Gaston Zossou, who led the organization for the past decade. His appointment marks a leadership transition built on a strong foundation of governance reforms that have strengthened LNB SA and enhanced its position within the regional lottery sector.

During the official handover ceremony, Chairwoman of the Board Sarah Kpénou praised Zossou’s leadership and the structural reforms implemented during his tenure. She noted that the lottery’s next chapter will focus on accelerating digitalization, adopting modern management practices, and ensuring the organization continues to adapt to the evolving lottery and gaming industry.

One of the defining achievements under Zossou’s leadership was LNB SA’s successful listing on the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), a milestone that reinforced the lottery’s corporate governance, improved transparency, and strengthened its standing in the regional financial market.
