Tau Rapulana Secondary School has emerged victorious in the North West Gambling Board (NWGB) Responsible Gambling Soccer Tournament knockout stage held at Mmabatho Stadium.

The tournament brought together school learners through sport while promoting awareness of responsible gambling and the importance of making informed decisions.

As part of the knockout stage, NWGB representatives engaged learners on the dangers of underage gambling, emphasising the risks associated with gambling at a young age. Learners were reminded that the choices they make today can have a lasting impact on their education, wellbeing and future.

The tournament forms part of the NWGB’s ongoing efforts to promote responsible gambling awareness among young people and reinforce the message that gambling is an activity for adults.

Following their impressive performance, Tau Rapulana Secondary School was crowned the Ngaka Modiri Molema District champion and will represent the district in the next stage of the competition.

The North West Gambling Board congratulates Tau Rapulana Secondary School on its achievement and encourages all participating learners to continue making responsible choices both on and off the field.
