The Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) has announced its official partnership with EA SPORTS FC™ Pro for the inaugural season of the eNPFL esports program.
Integral, Africa’s leading sports management and marketing company based in Lagos, Nigeria, will collaborate with the NPFL to organize the tournament.
This groundbreaking partnership marks the first time a West African league, specifically the NPFL, is joining the EA SPORTS FC™ Pro esports program for 2024.
The eNPFL tournament will provide an incredible opportunity for 24 players from EA SPORTS FC to represent the NPFL clubs in the competition.
The action-packed eNPFL tournament will span across four regions, with players competing on behalf of the 20 NPFL clubs. The qualifiers are scheduled to take place from March 9th to April 13th, 2024, in Ibadan, Abuja, Port-Harcourt, and Enugu.
The Grand Finale event will be held in Lagos on April 27th, 2024. The finalists will vie for a winner-takes-all grand prize of $15,000 (USD) and the chance to participate in the Play-Ins for the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship 2024.
